At the festival, ate wonderful food (including some awesome corn), met nice people and heard an interesting and informative lecture by T. Colin Campbell. Here are some Food Fair photos.
The festival was on Toronto's harborfront and we enjoyed the
waterway by Hippo, tour boat and from the sky. Toronto is home to the world's tallest tower and we enjoyed cocktails as we enjoyed the view.
Toronto is a multi-cultural city with lots of small shops, wonderful
vegetarian friendly restaurants and lots of public transportation.
We experienced all forms, bus, cable car, subway. We visited museums and even had time to take in a lovely botanical
garden - photos here - on our way out of town.
Randy had visited Niagara Falls before but Debbie hadn't. Debbie's
expectations weren't high so that is probably why she enjoyed
this 'natural wonder' so much. It is awesome! Photos here. We found Clifton hill a bit silly, but hey why
shouldn't the Canadians take advantage of the American wallet. They
have a great view and put on a wonderful light show.
